Pork Belly Chile Habanero Game Day Tacos

AHHHHH...Y’All know how much I LOVE spicy food and my hot sauces! It is kind of an obsession and one that I can live with! I mean when you find a good, clean, and spicy hot sauce that you can put on everything, your brunch and dinners just got that much better. If I am whipping up something savory, hot sauce goes on my eggs, chicken, bacon, salads, sweet potatoes, vegetables, and toast. I think that pretty much covers everything! LOL!

I was really excited when I got the email to partner up with El Yucateco to not only create a recipe, but also talk about the product, and obviously, why you should buy some today. YES, this stuff is good, it is spicy, and you can create lots of delicious, fun, healthy recipes for game day, brunch, dinner, meal prep, or even appetizers. You can find some recipe ideas HERE, if you have no interest in making mine. LOL!

These spicy tacos are versatile, easy to make, ready in about 30 minutes, are loaded with flavor, and perfect for whenever you are craving delicious Mexican eats! You could make these with steak, chicken, or even shrimp, but I wanted pork belly, because sometimes when that craving hits, I just go for it, and I LOVE the way they cook in the air-fryer!

What do you need to know about El Yucateco?

  • Let’s talk about how to say it, because well yeah, I fudged this pronunciation up MANY TIMES! It is pronounced - EL -YOU - CAH - TEK - OH!

  • The company was founded in 1968 by Mr. Priamo J. Gamboa in Yucatan, Mexico.

  • El Yucateco is the #1 habanero sauce in the US and is also ranked in the top 10 of ALL hot sauces in the US.

  • They are made from the whole fruit of the pepper, are non-vinegar, and they do not use capsaicin extract.

  • There are currently FIVE habanero based sauces, which you can shop HERE!

If you have any other questions, you know how to reach me! I LOVE talking about food and I LOVE talking about spicy food and sauces, so hit me up. I cannot wait to hear from you and I cannot wait to see what you create with El Yucateco hot sauces.

Happy Cooking!
