Chocolate Protein PowerBar Smoothie

During my high school and college years, I played a lot of field hockey! I was always going to practices, tournaments, tryouts, and even traveling to other countries. I loved every second of it...I worked hard...I trained hard...and I ate a lot to fuel that lifestyle. At that time, PowerBar was actually my bar of choice. I ate a lot of them! So it was kind of a "flashback" moment, when PowerBar reached out to me, to do a review on some of their newest products.

Upon opening the box, I went straight to the ingredient list and I was impressed...Lots of protein, low sugar, and simple flavors. They looked good to me! The bars are tasty and perfect for when you know you are going to have a busy day and need a quick snack. You can never go wrong with the Chocolate and Peanut Butter combo in my opinion.

As far as the shakes go, they taste good on their own, but I wanted to make something a little more hardy and creative...As you know I like to eat my smoothies with a spoon and in a bowl. This Chocolate Protein PowerBar smoothie was PERFECT after my Saturday workout!
