Chai Cherry Nut Butter Protein Smoothie

YES...The title of this smoothie sounds as good as it tastes! All of my absolute favorites in one jar is the absolute perfect smoothie combination to have after a sweaty summer workout. Last week I received this big old box of deliciousness from Bob's Red Mill and FitApproach. There are enough protein powders, flavors, and recipes to last me for months. High-Fives to this #SummerChallenge that will entail lots of healthy and delicious recipes. I am a BIG fan of Bob's Red Mill products, so I was very excited to be chosen to review their new products. 

I am very skeptical when it comes to protein powders because a lot of the time I do not agree with the ingredients and neither does my body. I also do not rely on protein powders as they are not REAL foods, but they are a great substitute for getting the protein, calories, and nourishment that my body needs while training. Plus, when you find a good protein powder, the recipe creations are endless...Happy Belly = Happy Katie!

And now onto that smoothie...

Ingredients: 

Directions: 

  • Add all ingredients into your blender! (I use the Ninja Blender and LOVE IT)

  • Blend until smooth as can be;

  • Pour into an "almost empty" nut butter jar of choice;

  • Top with remaining cherries and ENJOY!

I love everything about this smoothie and I hope you will try it sometime this Summer! I think next time I am going to make a Vanilla Mango Nut Butter Smoothie...Mangoes are the fruit of the week that I have been currently crushing on.
